Frequently Asked Questions

Is the services provided considered therapy?

No, they are not. You will not receive any clinical screenings, clinical assessments, clinical diagnoses nor will you receive any medication or mental health treatments of any kind. While conversations pertaining to mindset and wellness will occur, conversations will remain strictly centered around money and personal finance.

will i be refunded if i miss my appointment?

Payments made for sessions, classes, workshops, webinars, courses and/or any other services rendered are final unless your coach is the reason why the sessions in your package could not be completed. You will not be reimbursed for a missed appointment but you can reschedule your appointment. Please make sure that you are ready to engage in the full duration of the program you have signed up for before paying. Also, that this is the right program for you. Refunds for products purchased will be possible if there are issues pertaining to the product ordered. More information about this can be found in our terms and conditions.

what are the rules around re-scheduling a session?

Requests to reschedule a session should be sent at least 4 hours before your appointment. Your coach has limited availability and this will allow all parties to be able to make schedule changes smoothly and more efficiently.

Can you describe how sessions will go?

  • All coaching sessions will be virtual (other than for in person workshops or conferences).

  • Individual coaching sessions will be weekly for 6 weeks.

  • Weekly sessions will be 1 hour long. For special one off options, those may be up to 2 hours long.

  • Cameras must be on for sessions and you must be fully engaged.

  • You will only be given a 10 minute grace period. After 10 minutes your coach will leave the meeting room and this means that you have forfeited that week’s session. If you suspect you may be more than 10 minutes late for a session, it is best that you reschedule that session in advance with your coach so that you do not run the risk of it being forfeited.

  • Although you have a 10 minute grace period, you are highly encouraged to show up on time so that you can benefit from your full hour. For instance: if you show up 10 minutes late, this means we will only have 50 minutes to talk.

  • If your coach is the reason why session started late, then you will be given the full hour as promised. It is only fair to you.

  • Lastly, you should expect to be given assignments to complete in between your sessions. No worries. Your coach understands life gets busy. They will totally be doable.

WHO Do YOu not work with?

Transparency is really important to me. I do not work with the following:

  • I do not work with anyone under the age of 18 years old.

  • I do not work with anyone who is looking for therapy or who is in need of clinical services. Remember that this is not therapy. All conversations will be strictly around money and personal finances.

  • I do not work with close friends or family members.

  • I am not a financial advisor nor an accountant. So those looking for investment advice, tax assistance and other complex financial services should seek the help of a person with those qualifications. I am more of a teacher and a coach.

  • I cannot work with anyone who is looking for a quick fix. If you are not ready and able to be an active participant in this process, please do not sign up.

will what we discuss during sessions be shared with anyone?

Your coach will not share money and finance conversations that reveal your identity unless if required by law. Reasons your identity may be revealed include but are not limited to a court subpoena, criminal investigation, or any other legal litigation. Please also note that your coach is a mandated reporter. Therefore if there is suspicion that you are endangering a minor under the age of 18, then your coach will be required to report this. Lastly, your coach may call 911 if you report being a physical danger to yourself or other living being. This means if you report a desire or plan to commit homicide, assault of any kind, suicide, or any other bodily or mental harm. Other than the situations mentioned above, any personal identifying information discussed with your coach will remain confidential. Please see our privacy policy for more specifics that may not be covered here.
